Performance Foodservice in Clanton is hiring for the following positions:

Buyer Assistant – Responsible for assisting personnel within Purchasing confirming all purchase orders, invoicing customers and processing drop ships.

Stand-Up Forklift Operator – Operates material handling equipment, such as a forklift, pallet jack, reach truck, etc. Transports incoming freight to inventory from staging areas for storage in the appropriate slots, on the multi-level racks in the assigned warehouse area and replenish/re-stock pick slots in a timely manner. Pay: base pay of $17/hr plus production incentive.

Night Warehouse Sanitation – Performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned. Pay: starting pay of $15/hr.

Driver, Dedicated Backhaul – Responsible for driving a tractor-trailer (day cab/sleeper), tandem trailer and/or straight trucks on intrastate and/or interstate routes to pick up logistics’ loads and/or other related food and non-food product loads in a safe and timely manner. Pay: $45,000 – $60,000/year.

CDL Class A Delivery Driver – responsible for driving a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight and drive and drop routes for the purpose of delivering and/or unloading food and food related products to customers in a safe and timely manner. The Nurse Aide Academy of Clanton can help you on your journey to become a CNA (certified nursing assistant). Our class is 10 days in length, Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm. GED or high school diploma is required. You will also be asked to complete a background check and a drug test. Tuition is free of charge for individuals living 30 miles or less from the school. KELSEY’S PLACE – (205-299-5384) 950 Lumac Road, Clanton, AL – offers free GED prep classes, GED testing, tutoring, resume writing and other services as needed. The only fees associated with services are fees charged by GED.com and GED testing. Kelsey’s Place is open Monday – Friday by appointment.
