*Chilton County Parks & Recreation Caretaker/ CSR – Employee performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance and operations of the recreational buildings, grounds, open spaces and parks. Job Summary: This position supports daily deli operations by providing excellent customer service, preparing ingredients, building and packaging orders, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Prep + Order Fulfillment Prep ingredients (chop, portion, label, date, and rotate using FIFO). Build and package menu items and to-go orders accurately. Prepare and package catering orders as needed. Restock the line and maintain speed and accuracy during busy periods, Cleanliness + Food Safety. Follow food safety and sanitation standards (handwashing, gloves, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention). Clean and sanitize work areas; wash dishes; take out trash; sweep/mop as needed. Follow company procedures for allergens, illness reporting, and safe food handling. Food Safety & Training Requirements: Food safety certification (SERV Safe Food Handler) is preferred, but not required – training provided. Shift leads/management must obtain and maintain a Certified Food Protection Manager credential (SERV Safe Manager or equivalent accredited program). Qualifications: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Friendly communication and strong teamwork. Able to follow recipes and portion standards; attention to detail is important. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Deli/restaurant experience is a plus, but not required (we will train).

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to lift 25-40 lbs. (supplies, boxes, catering items). Ability to safely use basic kitchen tools and equipment (training provided).
